OUR STORY
Hi, we’re Shaima and Munna, the husband-and-wife team behind Mushi. We started Mushi in March 2025 with a simple idea — to create our own style of food, bringing together the vibrant flavours of Asia with the elegance of European cooking. Our menu is inspired by Eurasian cuisine, where different flavours, ingredients and cooking traditions come together to create something unique. From delicate seafood and hearty meats to colourful vegetable dishes, every plate is thoughtfully prepared using fresh ingredients and our own creative touch. For us, Mushi is more than just a restaurant. It’s something we have built together, with a genuine passion for food and hospitality.

Absolutely love this restaurant! The food is delicious and the lovely couple and their staff who run it are always so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. There is a lovely verandah overlooking the sea which in summer feels like you're somewhere in the Mediterranean! Thanks to the whole team for a wonderful evening. See you soon

Long time Ventnor resident who now lives in London, we come to back to the Isle many times a year to visit family and friends and last month was the first time we ate at your restaurant. It honestly surpassed all expectations, the ambience was perfect, the staff to an individual were very considerate and added to a lovely atmosphere. The food and drinks were also wonderful. We visited this restaurant on a short stay on the island. Under new ownership, this lovely art nouveau restaurant offers tradional English and Asian fusion dishes. Our food - chicken and sea bass - was delicious. The rice pudding to die for. Friendly and attentive service. Jazz music in the background and views of the sea. Altogether a delight.

Thank You to the lovely hosts for another wonderful meal. I've eaten at your beautiful restaurant a few times now and it truly is a special place..From the moment you walk in you will instantly feel relaxed with the spectacular views over Ventnor Bay.
